Preparing a wardrobe for a cruise is not always an easy tasks for plus sized women. Having an item that fits well and looks glamorous for each activity is important.
Find out about the cruise. Take time to visit the website and look over the itinerary. There may be the option to attend one or more formal dinners in the ballroom. Dancing lessons, swimming, and day trip excursions all require different types of attire.
Pack clothes that will take you from day to evening easily. Select fabrics that will that move with you. A jersey style fabric can be worn while attending indoor activities on the cruise ship, and light weight enough to explore the mainland. Popular travel separates may not need ironing and can be dressed up easily with fashionable jewelry.
Purchase a new supportive seamless bra and
seamless underwear to create a smooth look under clothes. Look for swimsuits that have a matching sarong. One piece swimsuits should highlight the best features of your body. Solid colors in dark tones are always slimming. Nothing is worse than an unflattering print in the wrong size. Always try on swim wear, separates, and
dresses prior to packing for the cruise.
Try to take a few sets of fashion jewelry on the cruise. Choose one or two bold jewelry pieces to help basic tops and solid toned separates look sophisticated. What are your best shopping tips for preparing for a cruise?

I love this site. I just found it a few months ago and the Delta Burke’s Bra’s are great. Can’t wait to get my swimsuit for next year.
I never can find a bathing suit to fit my body and I came across this website by accident and decided to give it a try. I went by the comments and pictures and took a chance. The suit came with in 3-4 days and I haven’t had a suit that fit me this well in years! I won’t hesitate to buy a suit from this site again.
for a cruise take a spare swimsuit. also don’t be too quick to book a shore excursion from the cruise line. Do some research on line before you leave
Although I prefer one piece suits, on occasion two piece suits are more convenient, especially when worn under clothes on an excursion. I buy several mix and match tops and bottoms so I can interchange them easily for a new look. It looks as though you have a new suit daily just by mixing different tops and bottoms!
I have purchased numerous swimsuits from Swimsuits For All since I discovered their website a couple of years ago. All are of very good quality and have held up well. I have received many compliments, even with my plus sized body. The suits are stylish and not like any I find in retail stores where I live. I love this store!!
I ordered a beautiful one piece bating suit for my up coming trip to Mexico and I can not wait to wear it…..nice options fair prices and quick delivery.
I purchased a swimsuit from you for our plus size teen daughter for her to wear on a cruise in December. We were able to sit at the computer and shop and were thrilled to find nice choices in her size. Thank you. We all enjoyed the cruise. I will purchase from you again.
I was lucky and found this website right before a trip to Jamaica. I was dreading wearing a bathing suit until I found one by Delta Burke that was actually flattering! I got compliments and did not feel uncomfortable walking around the pool.
I wouldn’t shop anywhere else for a suit. The reviews by real customers is a great plus!
My next cruise, I know I will have nice bathing suits and covers. Thank you.

I am going on a cruise next month and am looking for just the right suit. I have no doubt that I will find it here! The selections are extensive and flattering to just about any body type. Well done!
Finally a one piece swimsuit that is comfortable to wear and lasts longer than other swimsuits after three days a week of aqua classes at the “Y”. I discovered Longitude swimsuits and the web.site Swimsuits For All last Summer. No more hours of trying other brands of swimsuits, I am totally sold on Longitude! The many compliments I receive, reinforces my belief that their swimsuits are stylist too.
My favorite cruise trick is to wear a maxi dress over my swimsuit. That way I can take a quick dip in the pool and then head off for more fun.
My husband and I go on a cruise every winter. I have found that I can always find a swimsuit or cover-up on the Swimsuits for All website. The suits and cover-ups are fashionable and the styles are made for a variety of sizes and shapes. It is also very convenient to shop at home on-line! Thanks much!!
I have found that as long as one isn’t too daring with the swimsuit, as long as you feel comfortable while wearing it, then you have succeeded in making it look good on you (for the most part).
I love the swimsuit I received from SFA! I also have a cruise tip. Caftan over swimsuit can double as a dress for a shore trip.
Hi, I have a suggestion for “traveling” whether it be a cruise or another type of vacation. I discovered this by experiance….before leaving for vacation, I had my dressy , hard to pack clothes, dry cleaned, and then kept them in the dry cleaner’s bag. I put them in the suitcase or garment bag, keeping them in the plastic dry cleaner’s bag, which kept them WRINKLE FREE!!! and ready to wear…even the delicate fabrics. I started packing clothes that could be washed , in plastic bags also and achieved the same results. I want to add that I found a new fabulous swimwear selection at SwimsuitsForAll.com. My summer swimsuit had gotten torn, and I needed a new one for winter swimming at the indoor pool at the sports club. I was very happy to find my “plus size” there, which fit “true to size”. I live in PA, and none of our stores had my size at this time of year.
I’ve purchased several swim suits through your company during the past 4 years or so, and have enjoyed them all. I particularly like Longitude and Delta Burke, as I am a senior, and they do a good job on some of their suits in cutting the leg and back areas more modestly I feel. I don’t want skirted suits, I just like the leg not to be cut too high, more of what used to be called a “little boy cut”, kind of comes straight across, instead of going way up on the sides. I think if you’re older or a bit heavy, you don’t find the high cut suits flattering or comfortable.
